"We have a dream"
The board of NOBAB would like to use the famous words of Marther Luther King: "I have a dream" as the heading for it´s third and mayby most important project.
The dream of the board is that NOBAB will been widely known and respected NGO among sick or disabled children. Among healthcare workers and politicians and last and again not least among the public. That the name NOBAB shall be one of the first names which comes into one´s mind in the nordic countries when the quality of life of sick or disabled children comes up.
Individual member countries have succeeded in this goal so why should an international oranisation not do the same ?
The vision and goals of NOBAB are needed now more than ever in the times of economic sanctions and restrictions. Voices of sick and disabled children and their parents tend to become very low almost a whisper in the times we are experiencing now in the beginning of this century. But the nordic countries have never been so economically well of in their entire history. Is it really so that we can not afford to take good care of our sick or disabled s children ?
There are a lot of willing hands and minds within NOBAB. But we need everybodies help. We need economical support to finance our acivties. To be better able to deliver the help and support. To make the surroundings and conditions for sick or diabled children as bearable as possible.
Your contribution is badly needed.
